William James of Harvard University said, the greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind”. Your attitude contributes 85% to your success both in your personal and professional life.
If we have a positive experience with a person, our attitude towards him becomes positive and vice versa.
What is the greatest motivator?
It is Money? Recognition? or Improvement in our quality of life?
Experience has shown that people will do a lot for money, more for a good leader, and do most for a belief. We see this happening every day all over the world. People will die for a belief. When we believe that we are responsible for our lives and our behavior, our outlook towards life changes for the better.
Motivation is the driving forces in our lives. It comes from a desire to succeed. It is a force that can literally change your life.
Cheetah is the fastest animal on the earth. The law of nature supports this statement. But when ever it chases a prey out of ten, nine times the prey out smarts the predator. Why?
It is simple. The Cheetah’s attitude is procure food but the prey is influenced by fear motivation, it knows if it is caught it is going to be dead meat. This makes the prey break nature’s law and most of the time it outsmarts the Cheetah.
Motivation needs to be identified and constantly strengthened to succeed. Keep your goals in front of you and read them morning and evening – that translates into self-motivation. When people accept responsibility, everything improves: quality, productivity, relationships and teamwork
